Bucket for Wishing Well

Return to project index

This is a project of bucket for the wishing well I made from wood obtained free from pallets. I also modified some of the instructions or did optional steps. The plan for this project is free and can be found HERE!

I modified the size to match the wishing well specs and made the boards 1¾" x 6" long.

The materials needed for the project

[a] Twelve 65mm x 18mm (3/4"x 2 1/2") wood slats that are 300mm (12") long.
NOTE: I made mine using ½ x 1¾ x 6"long.

[b] Two thin strips of wood approximately 1000mm (40") long.
NOTE: I used duct tape and cardboard.

[c] One piece of 15mm (5/8") plywood approximately 300mm x 300mm (12" x 12") square.
NOTE: I used pallet boards.

[d] Two lengths of copper strap approximately 22mm (7/8") wide by 1000mm (40") long.
NOTE: I used the left over strap from the wishing well project.

[e] One length of metal rod approximately 6mm (1/4") thick by 700mm (28") long. Can be steel, aluminum etc.

[f] Fifty 18mm (3/4") long nails with flat heads. Copper or galvanized.
